This piece explores the internal conflict of a woman, torn between the fear of aging and the realization that aging carries its own beauty. The butterfly, delicate in its transience—a momentary grace suspended in time. The plastic wrap—fragile, yet persistent—serves as a metaphor for the layers we build around ourselves to shield and preserve: youth, vulnerability. But, like the suffocating nature of plastic, these layers confine her, stifling growth and obscuring authenticity.
